Eco Tours

Nearly 85 percent of Apalachicola and surrounding Franklin county are public lands or wildlife preserves. The centerpieces of this area are the Apalachicola River and adjoining Apalachicola Bay.

This region is a nature lover’s paradise, home to exotic species of wild birds, mammals and reptiles. You can’t just drive up and look at these animals, or even approach them on foot. By far the best way to see them in their natural habitat is by boat.

Gator

N 2 Deep Divers offers two-hour eco tours on the scenic Apalachicola River. You’ll cruise quietly along its muddy banks where, among the native trees and grasses, you will see an assortment of waterfowl, shy mammals and possibly even an alligator or two.

Looking to Get Away From it All? Join us for a half- or full-day adventure to remote Saint Vincent or Little Saint George islands. These barrier islands form the Gulf side of Apalachicola Bay. They offer miles of quiet beaches, wild animals and, above all, a chance to experience Florida the way it was 100 years ago.
